I can Install this version only in livecd mode.

Using Wicd 1.5.9 as network manager. When I boot the computer wicd can
connect with my router (configured with wep) without problems and I have
wacomcpl DOES NOT work under jaunty- it doesnt pick tablet device at
all.
I tried editing xinitrc file by hand,that got me the pad buttons to
work, but the pad scroll wheel does not want to act as a mouse scroller-
even if i set it to 4 and 5

I've used Ubuntu 8.04 with both GNOME and KDE. When upgraded to 9.04
everything in GNOME is fine, but in KDE result is this in attachment.
Any solutions?

Sam, that is a good argument for keeping it turned off by default.
However, if I turn it on manually, it ought to keep them scaled down,
because that's what I specifically told it to do.
