I've experienced a similar issue before.
I had a raid 6 array that I'd built with some disks, then, after it appeared to
be built okay, I grew it onto two more disks. Alas, the first set of devices
in the array were the partitions, the other two were, accidentally, the drives.
And somehow,
Node configuration seems to be identical but subsystem id is different. So for
sure you need to add
model=mb5 parameter. Again, if set up correctly it _should_ work also on Pro
model. I'll try to find one to test it.

It is true that I had to manually download the driver. It is still
experimental and not released into the repositories yet.
It works, and I have been waiting for a year and a half for a driver that
works properly. So, I can take the manual install!

This certainly seemed to considerably reduce any memory leak. I had my
computer on for 5 hours and Xorg only crept up to 5% (~100Mb) RAM usage.
Under EXA I would have had to restart X by now. Unfortunately my
computer freezes on starting X more than half the time under UXA.

Well that was indeed the problem. Once the custom kernel was running,
with the CPU frequency throttling simply and basically turned on, there
was no more problem. The low frequency and power saving governors ran
perfectly.
On the other hand I had no more Wi-Fi. 'Going to try to solve that one
