I have exactly the same problem with Ubuntu 9.04 desktop.
When configuring the cable LAN with networkmanager, after selecting the card
and
adding the IP and Mask numbers, the Gateway number is not saved.
Instead it is always set to 0.0.0.0
Any idea?

I too experience this. The only reason it occurs on ACPI events is the
system automatically dims the display to conserve battery life; if the
dim option is turned off then it doesn't happen. Thus this is not an
ACPI event problem rather a problem with how the system dims the
display.

Sorry, Martin, I agree, maybe it is not leak. I just see that when you
start a skype call using pulseaudio, skype consumes more and more CPU
memory with time and I think this finally results in audio delays. It
seems like leak of memory, but I am not sure what is the real reason.

I saw there was some new stuff in the xorg crack pushers ppa, so I
downgraded to jaunty native from the x-update repo, and the updated into
the crack-pushers repoOn my first reboot I noticed that despite my
