I can also confirm that nicotine is crashing x. My xwindows session
freezes a few minutes after starting nicotine, so I go to tty1 and
killall nicotine and go back to the x session and voila everything is
working again! I'd switch to mucous except it doesn't deal with
firewalls as well as nicotin

I am at colledge and a lot of people use live usb key for working.
Most of them had this problem because they chose an extra space bigger than 2
GB.
That is a pity ! because the first impression hey had on ubuntu. It something
that doesn't work properly !!!

This is still an active buggy problem but I have wireless working again.
I reloaded 9.04. This time when I updated I deselected the bluetooth
updates and it seems to be working ok now. I'm not 100% sure if this is
the case or not but after a reboot after the updates I still have
wireless unlike bef
I am also getting 'bad header line' and 'got a single header line over
360 chars' in both my ubuntu 8.10 and my linux mint 7.0 while using
apt/synaptic. It usually only appears while downloading anything related
to KDE(though there are some exceptions)...

I'm not sure how to proceed. Most of what is discussed above still
applies for an up-to-date Jaunty, AFAIK. So, inasmuch as they're
considered bugs, this report should be kept open.
But I'm not much affected by them, because I've added all sorts of
manual hacks and workarounds to my syst
Previously mentioned fix with "usb_endpoint" is a solution to this bug.
I've attached a patch which directly changes /lib/udev/rules.d/40-lomoco.rules
file.
The rule actually causes lomoco to run twice when the device is
connected, but it's still better than nothing.
