work, see the output below. I tried Debian 5, which should be using
the same installer if I am not mistaken, and that installed
successfully.

agent, for instance by disabling it in /etc/X11/Xsession.options
For a proper fix, please report a bug in Debian. I don't think Ubuntu

tested, it seems that udev.lomoco script doesn't get execut
I'm not sure working around upstream's decision is the best way forward
here (and apparently upstream never really got the shaping right
anyway), however this is definitely something that should be fixed.

Ubuntu 8.04 -- Gnome
Place cursor over image, right-click, select:"Set as Desktop
Background". Pop-up opens showing image of monitor, option to select
color, stretch image,tile,or center. Regardless of selection, clicking
on "Set As Background" has no effect. - Seems not to be linked to

If I remove the script "/etc/pm/sleep.d/07-stop-play.sh" The laptop
suspends.
Looks like their is a problem either with the 07-stop-play.sh script or my
laptop.

in a qemu-x86_64 boot of a Ubuntu disc.

Installed Office 2003 on Jaunty and starting Outlook causes the error message

Assertion '(unsigned) data.input_frames_used == in_n_frames' failed at
pulsecore/resampler.c:1284, function libsamplerate_resample(). Aborting
I did some more testing. The Screensaver also kicks in if I use Gwenview's
slideshow feature.
However, it does _not_ start if I use Okular in fullscreen (presentation) mode.
