During boot of Jaunty (Started with Interepid), I noticed my router
light will sit and blink ('twinkle') like high traffic.
When I get inside of Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu Jaunty (Again it started in
Intrepid, Hardy worked fine), I have to sudo rmmod e1000e, then modprobe
e1000e
It doesn't freeze system completely, but for 1sec and again 1sec and again
1sec If I move my mouse i see 1fps slide-show. All I wanted to do was
resize the image, and I had to use another tool. The point is when I open it I
cant stop the process of that freezes and have to force shut down
Well, that didn't go too well. Got system freeze when the internal
display was disabled, nothing was shown on TV and couldn't access logs.
I will try to run X from the command line and redirect stdout and stderr
to flash drive and hope it gets synchronized before hard reboot.

I just built gedit-plugins-2.26.1 from source and installed it.
The draw spaces plugin, when activated, had precisely this default value:

Upstream is setting these two options to false by default.
I can see that there are many people complaining about PPTP not working
in 9.04 ... is there anyone at all looking into this issue or are we
left to our own devices and another distribution or operating system...?

I've just returned from vacation so I'm sorry for late response.
I tried to suspend from latest 9.10 Live CD but with no success. I've got
responsive mouse cursor on black background. I also could change consoles with
CTRL+ALT+Fn but there was no graphical desktop ...
