I try to reproduce this error but it works fine por me. I am using
Jaunty and rhythmbox 0.12.0. I have attached an screenshot for your

I have got fglrx to work on Ubuntu/Jaunty with the latest driver from ati
(ati-driver-installer-9-8-x86.x86_64.run).

I have noticed that after i boot if i run update manager it creates the
brown screen of death. it seems to be associated with runnng update
manager although it can crash with other applications randomly.

My bad. Turns out ~/.config/kde.org/libphonon.conf was owned by root! I
was only looking in the .kde4 directory for configuration files. Seems
to work fine now.

The MIR approval team would prefer to keep serf in universe for now, so here’s

I can reproduce this problem using notify-osd.
Using the notification-daemon, nothing happens (neither the Now Playing
window nor the notification slide appear).
xfce4-notify seems to work fine in this case (moving the mouse cursor on
