Yes. Seems to happen with most m3u playlists that have mp3 files in the
playlist. Just hit next to advance to the next song while the current is
playing. It may not happen on every song, but on a playlist of ~10 files
it should happen at least once if not much more.

I can reproduce this on my ThinkPad X200s with exact instructions from
Diego. I get the same backtrace in /var/log/kdm.log and I have also

I just did a fresh install from the karmic-alternate-amd64 iso, and I
couldn't reproduce any of these issues.
The install went without a hitch.
Rebooted, logged into the new system. Verified my data was encrypted
on disk, mounted and decrypted just fine, automatically.
Just tried the latest kernel patch. This bug still exists.

I installed Karmic Alpha 5. When I booted first time Empathy worked
normal. I was even able to make audio call. For me it was the first time
in Linux, other than Skype.
I shut down the computer without closing Empathy. Next time when I

Why does the nvidia-common kernel postinst even exist? It looks like
it's only purpose is to replicate the functionality that was there from
the nvidia-common postinst. Obsoleted drivers won't be introduced by
new kernel images, but instead by newer modaliases as detected by

I had the same problem. xrdp wouldn't stay running from the startup
scripts, but if I logged in I could run it manually with no problems.
After a few days of trying everything I could think of I stumbled upon a
solution. Putting a delay at the end of /etc/init.d/xrdp seems to do

Just ran into this same issue today, 9.04, current on patches. The
blinkbox process spins and is not even killable by -9. Killing
gnome-screensaver parent process has no effect. Only solution it seems
is to reboot as the X session never comes back.

Can you update to the latest packages, create a brand new vm, and
reproduce the error?
I'm 99% sure we've fixed this. You may be seeing errors from your vm
disk if it was created/used with the buggy version.

Did a release upgrade to karmic to start trying it out.
After reboot the gdm login took a while to come up. Then when I logged
in I see a blank screen which flashes a few times and then I get
returned to the gdm login screen which becomes

Sorry but I don't understand what you want.
Yesterday I wanted to post a 'classic' patch (this one in attachment) but Gilir
has said to me that a patch with debdiff is easier for MOTU.
It was the first time that I used debdiff and I saw that to create a debdiff we
need a new '.dsc'
I have the same crash and it's definitely not any time related issue
(unless a skew of 30 milliseconds is too much for ubuntuone to handle).
