1 - The bug in jaunty IS specific to ext4, and has existed since jaunty betas.

I'd like to confirm this bug in Karmic. Blurry dvi rendering in evince,
but PDF rendering is fine. dvi rendering in okular has a different
problem in okular, as the anti-aliasing isn't on for some reason. xdvi
seems to render the fonts sharply/correctly.

Scott, thanks for the fix, however it still fails to build (as seen in

Didn't you say earlier that load4 does stuff with v4l and that's why people's
USB cameras don't work after installing your driver?
I think the reason I couldn't get it to compile with 2.6.31 is that the
patch_main's first hunk has an incorrect path. It says ./drivers... but should
be ./linux/dr
No USB issue here (U100) - just flashing brightness.
I added (on Ubuntu) the "brightness applet" to my panel, and with it, I can
adjust the LCD brightness with no flashing at all.
Also, if you use the function keys and it starts that whole blinking thing, if
you then adjust the brightness with th

Without a full specification of the conf file, it's impossible to say
for certain. I couldn't find one, but I did find this:

which suggests with the foo and bar example that multiple "start on"
lines should be supported.
