common problem. The install/update of some package fails because of out
of space, but the user does not know about it and is just presented the

I think that I'm also affected with this bug. Sometimes oowriter crashes
at startup. It has also crashed when I did basic editing of text, eg
right-clicking on a misspelled word or even when I tried to ad a space
between two words. I have also had problems copying text of around 45
lines to
Accidentally Nebula DVB-T now works.
No modprobing tricks required.
Compiled latest Liplianian drivers, to use my DVB-S2 card (Azurewave):

The issue has been resolved.
Well, I have removed libpam-abl.prerm from the pre/post install scripts
that are stored in /var/lib/dpkg/info. Then trying to un-install it once
again. It works.
dpkg -C shows that everything is Ok.

I am experiencing a similar problem. I am using external speakers which
have a light on top which is normally blue but turns red when audio is
muted. When I start my machine, the light is blue until gdm starts. When
gdm starts the speaker light goes red.

The pattern is the same every time:

I can confirm that. VGA connector lets the system boot, DVI connector is
no go. And it is the same screen that I am connecting.

Blindly assuming the changes for b43 just can be taken to b43legacy, I build
some test kernels on that base. They can be found at
http://people.canonical.com/~smb/bug476154/ as well (the -16 kernels).
@tournesolo, can you check whether this solves your problem? If yes, I assume
the other bug
The patch proposed by Kalou seems to work for me. It also solves
#153929.
After discussing with Aren on #exaile the patch removes the support of aiff,
snd and au file formats.
A specific wav module might be needed.

Possibly. Unlike the linked bug's description, Evolution only ever locks
up and does not crash.
