I open a folder with JPGs and they display appropriately and quickly.
A few moments later I try to open the same folder, I get a spinning ball
that never ends.

Tonight I upgrade the kernel with the last version for Karmic. It said there
was a solution for the brightness problem but it didn't work. I've tried
with and without the acpi_video_strict_detect=0 option and nothing
changed.
I keep waiting for a solution.

Just had a hang after a hibernate and trying to start backup. Using the
latest ATI driver from the website and A radeon HD 2600 Pro
ProblemType: KernelOops

Rather than creating a seperate package for templates, wouldn't it be
better to change the appropiate application packages to automatically
generate these filetypes? Ex. when OOo is installed OOo templates are
added during installation and the same happens for the GIMP or any other
(often-used)
