Using the information from Bug #453404, I patched the source files on
kubuntu 9.04 (linux-source-2.6.31) and compiled the module against the
headers linux-headers-2.6.31-16. After the patch, the driver module was
loaded (gspca_main, gspca_pac7311) and the device /dev/vide0 app
in response to post #109 this little tweak of stopping and starting the
pulseaudio does stop the memory leak, but it does not drop the Proc
usage from around 50% usage all of the time... ETA on possible fix? its
almost the new year

I am having the same bug, and recordfail=1 even if concurrency=none for
me. If I set recordfail=0 and restart grub works.. once. The next time
I restart it goes back to not using a timeout. I should note that I
never changed the concurrency setting at any time, it was always =none
for me.

I'm having the same problem when I updated from 9.04 to 9.10.
I'm fairly new to linux/ubuntu so I don't know how I'm supposed to

I've seen this as well. I also have Compiz effects turned off. For me
to replicate this easily, I need only maximize my Firefox window,
Maximize a terminal window that was previously not maximized (I do so by
double-clicking the titlebar), Alt-Tab back to Firefox, and if I double-
click the title

This in NOT A BUG in my case this was a hardware not a software issue.
The Kingston mini SD to SD adapter lock button sometimes brushes against
the side of the SD slot as it is inserted in the Acer AspireOne 250 & it
