Althoug this is fixed upstream and in latest Lucid packages, it still
does affect karmic. xdmx under karmic is completely unusable due to this
bug (and some others, which can't be seen due to xdmx not starting...).

I have the same problem, but i've got another Audacious version - 2.2.0
When I move crossfader to the beginning of the song then Audacious freezes but
music is playing.
Then only thing I can do is kill the process and start again.

had loaded, I started the ubiquity install, after a while jockey and
update-manager's I found a CD with software dialogue popped up.

Yep, thats true. I will look into it today. My own Eee 701 4GB and 901
both work perfectly now...Its the bloody Realtek chipset on the 701SD ;)
I suppose the SD model of the 701 is not so common either, since the 900
series was introduced and the older ones phased out around the time.

on the main menu (I'd say in the main menu) while the Menu Editor
is an implementation of the freedesktop menu specification for Gnome.
Seems backwards.
