How PPTP VPN connection is supported in other operating systems?

on today's kubuntu daily CD if you click shutdown after the install is
complete you get a message from the write daemon that shutdown will
happen but an error in the logs

instances of itself before trying to launch as we should never have more
than one instance at once.

with 2d launcher, go-home starts a new netbook-launcher-efl
I believe the problem is with libgg.so, as usual, we will just have to
wait for a ppa with telepathy-sunshine which properly supports GG
protocol.
It is very unfortunate nobody cares enough to support it right, and that
we're forced to use it (XMPP is so much better).
