I think not, but could be. This bug appeared today after a major new
update to desktopcouch, and only seems triggered by gwibber calling
desktopcouch when desktopcouch is not running. I assigned to kenvandine
so he could get the debugging data/.

Well, to clarify, here's what I usually do. I'll launch an application,
click on AllTray in my Gnome menu (which opens that little dialog that
asks you to click on a window, and the cursor turns into a cross), and
then click on the application window. Usually (like when I try that

Do you happen to have a media player like rhythmbox running in the
background? Some of those also try to mount MTP devices and will happily
mount your camera making it inaccessible to other programs.
For rhythmbox the solution is simple: disable the MTP plugin.

I've attached a copy of the new Ubuntu logo, scaled to 70px height (to
match the existing one). I had to fill an area of transparency that had
worked its way in there for some reason. The attached image should be

Thanks. I followed the procedure and it turned out that the bug is a
duplicate of #455740.
It's marked as Fixed there which is true in Lucid, but not in Karmic.
