I have 5 disks, and fsck decided that it needed to scan them all. After
30 minutes, the 2nd disk was 90% scanned; at that point, plymouth's dots
stopped blinking, and the message stayed on 90% done. I

press ctrl+alt+shift+right arrow to move a window to the next workspace. Then,
before the animation is done, press ctrl+alt+left arrow to go back to the
previous workspace. The window will stop halfway and stay visible on both

Plymouth displayed the fsck disk scanning screen, with a message Press
C to cancel scan. I pressed C multiple times (both cases) but the scans
continued (for 30 minutes).
