True, I can suffer with any other multi-mon mode if I must have Compiz,
but I prefer Xinerama. As I said earlier, Compiz has worked with
Xinerama on this hardware as recently as Beta 1 + a few days of updates.
This incident came from the 20100331.2 daily ISO with updates from the
daily firehose.

I've been having similar problems, running Lucid for the past couple of
weeks on my desktop and netbook.
On my desktop, Do will occasionally start and work fine, but more often
when launched it will just crash straight away. If I keep launching it,
it eventually works but this gets quite irritat

I haven't heard anything on this lately. For all those with this problem my
temporary fix is to
sudo apt-et install install virt-manager
on the server, and
ssh -Y
into the server, then run
sudo virt-manager
to use virt-manager "locally" on the server.
This is not the desired solution

I try to boot from cd and i can' t.
Work with radeon.modeset=0 in boot options and then i must run
sudo stop gdm
sudo modprobe -r radeon drm

Same here, syncing works fine when using iPod 3GS 16GB, but not on the
iPod Touch 16GB. I also noticed Rhythmbox doesn't report the specs of

It also looks terrible for a few programs that use a small packet
bouncing back and forth in the progress bar (see my updloaded
screenshot). I think this happens in Tomboy (pictured), software-centre
and synaptic for various tasks.
I am running an up to date version of Beta. It is not fixed yet.

Um, I thought that the retrace gave me line numbers, but I'm not seeing
them. The GtkEpgWidget::create_channel_row is complex and uses many
strings so I really don't know which line it is that caused the issue.
