In my experience, about 50% of all Apport-reported nepomuk crashes end
up failing to some degree. :(
This does leave us in a tight spot, as Apport is currently the only way
to detect nepomukservicestub crashes. The KDE Crash Handler doesn't pick

IMO the wm's have to become more intelligent about what to start. We
have to accept that one machine can have all kind of desktop
environments installed and thus have a multitude of screensaver engines
with autostart files

Did somebody of you have tested to burn cd/dvd on console, disabling hal
before? I had similar problems and worked around it with disabling hal.

gbaker, brasero, k3b) or use existing image if available for above

popping up a notification about new emails near the top panel. Here,
however, the messages appear as dialog boxes (with ok and cancel
buttons) in the middle of the screen, and stay there irrespective of
preferences I set.

I have the simpler model (without Touch, CTL 640), and it doesn't work
in Lucid either. Thats because you need the newest kernel module from
linuxwacom.sf.net If you install that (so just wacom.ko, nothing else)
it will work fine in Lucid.

I tried to report a similar bug, (Installing X-Plane 9, but after
ejecting the first DVD, the 2nd does not appear on the desktop and is
not recognized, even if I attempt to mount via a sudo command on the
command line.

What about making that configurable? I think there is enough place in
Touchpanel tab under Mouse preferences.
If that can be configured in gconf-editor (as Yuri showed) it should not
be that difficult to add that option.

I have the problem, that there is a problem with installing audacious-
plugins-extra as well as audacious-plugins-dev.
the Synaptic gives me this error-message:
