Been wondering why Flash has been crashing left and right for me in
Chromium (doesn't crash in Firefox). Finally Google returned this bug. I

It happened to me, tried with Sun Java 6, and it ahppened also with
that. The solution for me was to remove the xulrunner 1.9.3, installed
from the Mozilla Daily PPA to run Firefox 3.7. Try removing that package
and see if eclipse still crashes after that.

Upgraded from 9.10 to 10.04 - login loop every single time - login
screen showed up after a black screen blip. Shows a cl login prompt
