Every audio files sits on a NTFS type of partition. Some files duration are
tagged unknown and others are the correct length shown.

All right. So if everything is set up correctly, then when I put in a
CD, is there supposed to appear a symlink at ~/.wine/dosdevices/d: that
points to where the CD is? That's not happening. And under wine
configuration settings, when I put in the link to where the CD Rom is

I've also tried the newer version (v17) which still seems to crash. I
saw somebody using ndiswrapper somewhere, I havn't tried that yet. Do
you think theres any chance of making progress on this guy or should I
relegate this netbook to being wireless-less for quiet a while ;(

Instructions for reproducing this bug:
1. Boot Ubuntu 10.04 from the LiveCD. Don't change the language; leave it as
English. This will make the default keyboard layout USA later.
2. Wait for the GNOME desktop to fully load.
3. System Preferences Keyboard. Select the Layouts tab, add a random
gnome-do 0.8.3.1+dfsg-1 on Lucid, when resuming from suspend

This has supposedly been fixed in the Alpha4 release. I tried
downloading the Maverick package to test the fix but GDebi fails
silently (as near as I can tell). Could we get the new version in the
10.4 repositories to see if it fixes the problem? Thanks!

This is getting off topic Michael, but fakeraid support is only useful
for dual boot compatibility with Windows. It is not well supported, and
does not properly handle fault tolerance on any distribution. If you
are building a server or otherwise do not dual boot with Windows, you

Random freezes often occurring (minutes) after a default 10.04 install
on an Asus 1201N, 32bit, apt-get upgrade'd all including 2.6.31-22,
ext4, nvidia ION, Atom 330 dual-core, 2GB system with all
@Oliver I have a D150 also and had the same problem you are having until
today. I just flashed a new BIOS (v1.13) and that seems to have fixed
the issue of the netbook suspending when I disconnect the AC power.
