upgrade to the lucid release, as that is a far easier solution for
enabling sound for your hardware.

Well, I've worked on this in the weekend. I can attach a backtrace at the
moment. After running Evolution for about 60 hours under the valgrind control,
however, the bug has not still shown. So I'm afraid I will have to wait more.
Evolution running inside valgrind is very slow, maybe the bug
