when compiz is on. I have a ATI Raden HD 3200 in a HP dv5-1022la. If
compiz is off then memory usage is around 300MB, but when compiz is on,
memory usage increments to 900MB.

My keyboard and/or mouse hang up at random intervals, and once they hang up,

Sorry, I can't remember what came of it. I ended up giving up on Ubuntu this

This crash has the same stack trace characteristics as bug #529703.
However, the latter was already fixed in an earlier package version than
the one in this report. This might be a regression or because the
problem is in a dependent package.

missing 'python-gi' package. Currently it can't be installed because of

quite frustrated. I think it is serious enough to deserve a fix (ie,

Hmm...could be that input_mux creates an input mux control, so I don't have to
add it myself...strange that this did not show up in hda-emu though.
Anyway, I uploaded a new version of linux-alsa-driver-modules to my ppa
(version should be 2.6.32-24.201007110500+optiplex2),
I see this bug and it appears minutes or hours after activating the
banshee plugin. Not having the plugin enabled I don't see the problem,
so in my case it's definately the banshee plugin. (on x64 lucid, but I
had the same problem on x86 karmic with ubuntu-provided versions).

Indeed, it seems that medium priority makes sense and I had picked up my
