I use the VT1708S codec as well. The "Headphone" mixer in alsamixer is

The only thing that prevents me from using Unity on my laptop on day-to-day
basis is the lack of the above shortcuts. With those shortcuts implemented
(apart from the "desktop expose" view it would be great to have an additional
view of the windows on the current workspace, eg. super+e for '
I can confirm that disabling the g-s-d keyboard plug-in in gconf does resolve
the issue for me, but it kills the per-window keyboard layout feature. The
other workaround didn't help.

HIDD only connects for the current session. Yes Lucid worked flawlessly
with gnome-bluetooth. However, maverick does not and I wish I knew the
reason why.
No I never had to remove it, shut off, reboot, repair on Lucid. Added
hid_apple to /etc/modules and it worked on boot in Lucid.

I had the same problem with glade 3.6.7 and I think that the file
generate has to finish by ".xml" and not ".glade" to prevent this users
mistake.

with the `i915.modeset=1 or 0` parameter. I run most games on highest graphics

After reformatting the usb stick (FAT32, default on my Win 7, just to be sure I

Hi Dave! Thanks for your reply. Unfortunatelly "no keyboard interaction
is possible" includes ctrl-alt-f1. The freeze also happens if I keep on
working with the desktop (no black screen) or if I trigger the process
remotely via ssh. There is no message, just a freeze.
