When using my USB Ralink wifi dongle I am seeing an occasional but
fairly easy to trigger crash. Basically all one has to do is plug it in,
use the network connection and wait. It will crash, maybe it will take
minutes, maybe it survives a day but eventually it will crash.

I also ran in to this usability bug.
Which was very annoying, i as other didnt see any window popup before it was
activated.
I lost about 1 hour of work time just before a deadline. Because there was no
clue
that slow keys was enabled. I also tried reinstalling Xorg, an many other
workarounds
Have you tried to run in a terminal sudo ntpdate -u
europe.pool.ntp.org and check the output information? any way for me is
working fine here.

I am also seeing SCSI errors with Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS module aic7xxx
and linux 2.6.32-25-generic with an Adaptec AHA-2940UW, with termination
set to automatic.
I have read, elsewhere, the opinion that there exists an old and a new
aic7xxx driver, where the old driver works well with older SCSI
I have this issue since I upgraded to 10.10. Was not present for me in 10.04.
It happens when I want to install upgrades with the upgrade manager.
After authenticating the dialog does not disappear. However when I close it by
clicking on the little cross in the left top, the upgrading starts
It was never reall bandwidth. That was a poor choice of words. Other
machines sharing the same Internet connection had no problem. It only appears
to be bandwidth on the machine where the cancel happened because you can only
get minimal snippets of time on the Internet connection for other
the 0:5.1.51-1.glibc23 package must have been from the mysql client I
had previously installed, I un-installed it and was able to complete the
mysql server install without any further issues. I made it as far as
setting up the root password before the error, and once mysql client was
gone it
Booting in 2.6.32 works for me too, but it would be nice to not have to
use an old kernel.

I never had an issue with this until I installed Maverick. Now gnome-
power-manager is regularly ramping my CPU up between 50% and 70% when
plugged in to AC power. Unplugging it doesn't seem to help.
Running Ubuntu 10.10 (64bit) on a Lenovo IdeaPad Y510, clean install.

@Nadav: I wouldn't say beta quality just the latest releases of the
pakages. LTS releases usually use community proven stable versions of
the packages. The have to ensure 3 years support for them.

I'm running multiple guests via libvirt+kvm on my laptop. When I power
off one them, all remaining running guests freeze for 30 seconds.
On the host, top shows the ksmd process as using the most cpu.

The kvm command line included in the attached information is the
remaining running guest that freezes for 30 seconds after another guest
is shutdown. It's started from libvirt and both guests use a qemu
snapshot file as the backend for their disk device.
