I see two options here:
1) connman is not restarted, instead user is required to reboot
2) connman is restarted during upgrade, user does not need to reboot
Option 1 is safe but slow, reboot always takes time and then you have to
restart all the applications etc which is extremely annoying.
In the boot order settings in BIOS i excluded everything (CD and USB-
ports) but the HDD and now the problem is gone.

Thanks for pointing this out. Most non-games applications just use
libpng, where the depth of the image doesn't matter.
But indeed games often do some special tricks; as a first step I could
disable the PNG compression for packages in the games section, which
would include hedgewars as well. Does

facebook, gmx, nimbuzz and google talk work, if activated one at a time. Once I
try to activate more than one of the mentioned accounts, connection problems

binutils-multiarch trying to overwrite
Stefano, the problem with the shipped .pyc files I have fixed now for
both Debian and Ubuntu. The fix is committed to the Debian SVN
repository of HPLIP and also applied to the Ubuntu package -0ubuntu6. It
should also appear in the next HPLIP package in Debian unstable. So no
bug report at Debian

I'm having the very same problem since few days on ubuntu 10.04 LTS fully
updated.
I've a network of some pc, with 2 network printers and two usb printers
attached to PC.
I see the status is Fix Released, but where is it?

I have a similar problem. While uploading music to an iPhone 3G the new
files are uploaded which can be seen in rhythmbox or any other music
player, but not by the iPhone-music-player itself. Already present files
also disappear from the iPhone-music-player.

The open file dialog doesn't treat saved searches as
I see the exact same behavior as Dan above me. In any folder the first ls (or
any other command which requires file system data) works fine where the second
and all subsequent calls fail. Nothing in any log file nor in dmesg as far as I
can tell.

I'm sorry there are clearly two or more problems happening here. If you have
also tried the standard method of editing the Grub2 config file which is
well documented on a number of other bugs I'm sorry but I don't have any
suggestions, I don’t “know” any of the software around this
