There are general issues with running all-in-one setup in 10.04.
Additionally, I suspect that eucalyptus-nc is not running or operating
correctly as you wont' have kvm support in your vmware guest. At very
least you will have to configure the NC to run with qemu (non-
accelerated).

I just experienced this on Maverick 10.10 (after upgrades from previous
releases).
However when I did
sudo apt-get purge ntop
sudo apt-get install ntop
There was no problems. The purge command removed /var/lib/ntop. So the
install after that did not run into directory-exists problem.

I did some more testing. An external USB DVD writer (Samsung) is working with
no problems. Inserted discs are immediately recognized.
The internal drive does not recognize inserted discs. The command udisks
--poll-for-media /dev/cdrom makes them available and they are automounted.

PostgreSQL 9.0 has the psql option --no-password/-w, which is what you
want to use. It should be OK to also use this in older versions because
they will just fail and print nothing, which is no worse than the
disabled state now.

Dell Latitude 2110 has an SD card reader with PCI interface. This needs
the driver (rts_pstor.tar.bz2) from Realtek. Its source is free for
download from Realtek website, but the driver is not included in Ubuntu
nor upstream kernel.
Current driver version is v1.08 released

It would appear that the mysql-server package has not been installed
prior to installing bacula (as described in the configuration screens
during bacula setup).
Please could you confirm whether this is the case;

Good news! now I have a fully fonctionnal synaptics touchpad on my Vostro V13
I applied the patch on a 2.6.32 kernel
I am using Linux Mint LMDE, debian based on testing branch.
Now my synaptics touchpad is well recognized on
