Having similar problem with Realtek RTL8191SEvB on 10.10, kernel
2.6.35-24. All runs fine but signal strength randomly drops to 56%,
speed not quite 1Mbps ALL the time while the other three machines in the
house are getting 10Mbps +. When signal strength drops, network
activity seems to stop

keyboard again (works fine). output of bluetoothd follows.
after the device was added, the keyboard works only for 2 seconds and
then it does not work.

It seems that $HOME/.Xmodmap is applied twice in Ubuntu 10.10. This

I think lvs is just the reporting tool; it just happens that it's
programmed defensively, and reports fds coming from the environment.
bug #591823 discuss this happening both in upgrades and by running lvs
from a shell; the former is the same bug as here, the latter is another
bug, might be local
I certainly don't get this error running lvs alone.
I suspect lvs is reporting these issues coming from various programs as
it discovers open fds when called; if you're seeing this with bash,
check your startup files or environment (e.g. it could be left open by
your display manager, window

Not sure I understand the difference between a merge and a straight
sync, but yes the package is exactly the same as the package in
Debian/experimental with the version number difference.
