I would opt to drop the Ubuntu delta just because Ubuntu users aren't
always running the Ubuntu kernels, and the modprobe conf file provides
meaningful help to getting nbd running.

GTK+3.0 support?
Because, it seems that it was exactly the moment when canberra-gtk-play was
introduced into the package

From what I saw force_reval_path is never called with LOOKUP_RCU flag
set. Who calls force_reval_path is __do_follow_link, and
__do_follow_link is called from do_filp_open and do_follow_link. When
do_filp_open calls it, it already dropped LOOKUP_RCU (if path rcu lookup

@Peter If you only want to pay the cost of a micro instance, the
workaround that worked best for me is to use a 64-bit Ubuntu image,
which runs in a micro instance as well. For our apps, though, there is
no sensitivity whether Java is running 64-bit or 32-bit, so YMMV.
Running 64-bit also causes

That's probably best; we no longer provide development support 8xx
chipsets in Ubuntu. If you're lucky, upstream will give us drivers that
work with 8xx better in the future. If you run into problems and want
to work with a developer to resolve them I would recommend going
upstream directly.
