For natty, let's leave nbd as it is, and re-sync with Debian in natty+1.
I would opt to drop the Ubuntu delta just because Ubuntu users aren't
always running the Ubuntu kernels, and the modprobe conf file provides
meaningful help to getting nbd running.

It vanishes in 1st instance only.

Affected by the same bug. Running Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS on hp laptop. See
attached lspci output.
After running fine for a while, the root file system develops errors and
is remounted as read-only. Upon reboot, I get only simple ash shell.

This is not a Bug, I'll explain. Okay, figured out the problem. After
installing KDE and trying it out there i did not notice the problem as
easily. It was still there but not as inherent as it is in Gnome.
