Happens here too when i disconnect my Android phone using usb tethering.
The device comes up as an ethernet device. When i disconnect USB kded4
shoots up to 100% CPU making the complete system mostly and plasma
completely unusable. I have to kill kded4 (killall -9 kded4) and restart
it.

/home is installed on a separate partition.
I tried with a 30GB disk drive and 1GB of RAM and 1GB of swap space is

As for screenshots, we still need to re-take a few of them, so I have no
objection to making the icon changes at this time.
If we did have a screenshot with current icons, and only the shading was

I just wrote a tiny script to look for the string history into the
branch i feed to Launchpad:
1st string:

The 3rd has a bit more history but still, nothing wrong. Are you sure those are
the IDs that keep being overwritten?
if so, then it's launchpad's fault. I should be able to do the same tests with
the export branch..

Okay, it looks like the DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS is indeed valid bit
python-dbus is unable to connect for some reason since ubuntuone-
syncdaemon does not perform anything extra during the DBus connection.

after turning up the volume in alsamixer, I can hear the audio from the
test speakers in sound preferences. But not from an audio from banshee
