Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
Ubuntu better. This particular crash has already been reported and is a
duplicate of bug #631215, so is being marked as such. Please
Oh yes you are absolutly right, its a opinion. and im sorry if I heart
some feelings about it, probably I wasnt enough diplomatic in my
description (maybe a total #$%^). the point is that a time ago exactly
this kind of gradiants etc were nice, but in my opinion time changed and
design as well.
That's because the fglrx driver doesn't support your device, you need to
purge it and use the default opensource driver which should provide 3D
support.
** Package changed: x11-utils (Ubuntu) = fglrx-installer (Ubuntu)

- One of the things that has been bugging with Unity is the lack or
- quicklists for the default apps. Firefox has only a New Window
- quicklist and Banshee has no quicklists at all. Surely this quicklists
- can be added with editing the .desktop, but it would be way
I can't reproduce this anymore, so sam has fixed this
** Changed in: compiz

Unity panel
To clarify: I think the bug is now at the Xlib/driver level, not so much
in Unity or Compiz anymore. Sam stays around if there is something to do
at the compiz or unity level to find a workaround.
** Changed in: compiz (Ubuntu Natty)
Assignee: Sam SmSpillaz Spilsbury (smspillaz) = Chris
THe Desktop team made a workaround for the release, but this is still
worth fixing in an SRU.
** Changed in: unity
Milestone: 3.8.10 = 3.8.12
