able to use the computer for about 30 seconds after being away from the
computer for 20 minutes.

sometimes with white screen but it goes to plymouth, sometimes black or
white screen then no plymouth but goes to gdm, sometimes I can hear the
hard disk/LED as if it goes to normaly booting but then nothing.

update from online repository, version from Beta 2 disk worked fine. The
cursor disappears after 1 second of inactivity but it reappears when I

command line to override the read timeout setting (--read-timeout I
think).

I can't reproduce this in recent versions of Ubuntu, or in Debian
Squeeze. I'll close the report for now. If anyone can find a way of
reproducing the problem. please feel free to reopen the report.

When I try to record a video in Cheese, i get very few pictures with a
huge time gap between them. I already reduced the resolution manually to
960 x 720, so that the picture mode runs seamless, but for the video
mode it doesn't help.
