downloads what it needs for partitioning and does that. After

It doesn't seem to be specific with nVidia, I'm using ATI Radeon HD 3470
and is experiencing the same problem. Laggy, always crashing and
mouse+hot corner doensn't work any more. It was all perfect in 0.8.6. I
cant understand why Ubuntu includes a testing version of compiz in their
11.04 release. W

postfix not being able to read the services file, but I've confirmed my
chroot permissions (for /var/spool/postfix/etc/) seem to be correct and

Great. Unfortunately I think that the misbehaviour of notes on gtk
2.2.23 is actually the cause of notes being s slw on linux. The
Windows-version does not use gtk afaik. Yes the Notes-folks should
indeed fix their code. I have tried calling ibm in the hope of telling
them about the problem
Yes, but I have realised that they were probably from a previous
successful update. Attached are copies of the three files that are in a

Thanks for reporting this. Try running:
sudo rm -r /var/lib/apt/lists/archive.canonical
.com_ubuntu_dists_natty_partner_binary-amd64_Packages
See if that clears up the problem.

This is a usability problem. Way to reproduce:
1) Open nautilus and browse a folder with a lot of files, for instance /usr/lib
2) Select all
3) Scroll to about half of the files
The little orange line to spot the scrollbar is confused

I booted the system from a pendrive on this system .. I installed the
latest updates and gave me an error on plymonth "plymonth was leaving
unconfigured" and the error came out consecutively on initramfs-tools
giving me the same error ie "
I don't see how this is related to modemmanager. Does it happen when not
connected through mobile broadband modem too?

I have this same bug on 11.04, on my Sony Vaio VPCF115FM laptop.
Thought I was doing something wrong as I'm a completely new user to

I had this issue after upgrading to Natty. Only fix I found was to run
the following:
sudo apt-get autoclean
And for good measure:
rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list*
