package maintainer's version of
/etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld
that is unresolved as of mysql-server-5.1_5.1.49-1ubuntu8.1_amd64.deb

Just had the same problem with natty amd64.
I fixed it by rebuilding bluez:
# apt-get build-dep bluez
# apt-get source bluez
# cd bluez-*
# fakeroot dpkg-buildpackage -uc -us
# cd ..
dpkg -i *.deb
Interestingly, the installation complained that I downgraded from
1:4.39-0ubuntu2 zu

Had the same problem. Installed it manually and all is fine again.
(ctrl+alt+1, /etc/init.d/gdm stop, sh nvidia (...).run, reboot
- on my machine. some elements may differ from your setup, - check wikis.
driver will be installed correctly if done by hand)

I am having the same problem. One interesting observation I made that
might help in debugging is: The problem only appears the first time you
switch to full screen.
(1) Play a file in vlc
(2) Double click on the film playing (switches to full screen)
(3) Move the mouse = the vlc on-screen
Looks like this was introduced by the fix for LP: #625581.

In Ubuntu10.10, I have the bottom bar, the title bar and the menu bar (3
bars).

The fact of the matter is that Ubuntu people don't care, otherwise they
would have marked it as critical as I suggested in comment #79. It will
