I've rebootet the machine on 04.05. with the given options (acpi=1
apic=1). The kernel complains about malformed early option on this
(see attached dmesg output).
acpi_available returns 1, so at least acpi ist not available on this
machine.

I'm now on 11.04 and still suffer from Super+S override. I'm using
Xmonad + Gnome. This was a fresh install. But I also have a dist
upgraded variant of 11.04 and there is no such a problem. This bug kills
me :(

Yup, seems so. Bibble5 starts as a 32-bit program and uses it's only Qt
libraries that it brings with. These start to load 32bit gtk stuff from
/usr/lib32 , which then somewhere loads from /usr/lib/gtk-2.0 and thus
starts using 64 bit libraries.

Right now QQ support has been dropped from libpurple (and therefore haze) and
for now there isn't any immediate plans to make a QQ CM. If there is any
interest in someone to maintain a libpurple out-of-tree plugin you're
encouraged to check out

nVidia driver activated and apparently being used but
I have reproduced the problem on Ubuntu Natty and LMDE with recent
kernels. I'd say this is a pretty big issue, since this is the main
thing holding me back from using linux as my main OS. Fullscreen full HD
video with tearing is unacceptable for users who spend any amount of
time on YouTube.

Hit Ctrl + Alt + T to open a new terminal
Then type compiz-decorator and hit enter
You can now close the terminal

I compiled Wireshark using the Linux library (that does not support remote
packet capture) but I added --with-pcap-remote in the configure statement. I
replaced the libpcap library by the one from WinPCAP. I run WireShark and
