Actually, I installed Maverick and the latest Ati Catalyst driver and it
still failed. I have also tried other Distros, still no luck with
Catalyst. For now, I will have to live with either no suspend/resume, or
sucky video. Both kind of stink on a laptop, so for now I will boot into
Windows 7 and
I use several machines where I want to have some default applications running
when I login. The
option to explicitly save the session was perfect for this. Alternatives are
buggy, notably because
there is no good way to start applications at a specific desktop from a startup
script.

I've updated my system with Scott Kitterman's ppa. After disconnecting
my VPNC-connection the 100% cpu issue is gone. But my IMAP-account in
kmail doesn't work correct after disconnect. Furthermore shutdown,
logoff etc. produce KDE-error messages (kmail-errors).
I think, I shoult change to gnome..
Almost sure it's Gnome3 related - my workstation has XFCE installed and
menus are working fine, while on my Gnome3 laptop I can't click
anywhere. I've tried both OpenJDK and Sun's JDK and I've also tested
other java IDEs, PyCharm for example - same issue...

If you were using the standard xsetwacom.sh script that is given here

When you use xf86-input-wacom-0.11.1
by removing the definition of the buttons I manage it to work properly.
