I would just remind the curious, however, that installing any vanilla
kernel will render Remastersys useless, as it depends on Ubuntu kernel
patches like Aufs. As such, LiveCDs made with the 2.6.39.1 kernel, for
example, will not be able to boot. Since remasters are so popular in
these situations,

i printed a webpage to pdf via cups-pdf. when i open the document in
libreoffice draw, the text does not appear, but rather, there seems to
be invisible boxes in place of the text.

YES. It is reproducible. Every time the system boots, the sound fails
again. I have to re-plug the speakers again in order to hear the music
or video. Once it has been re-plug, the wierd noise disappears.

@ Seth: Per comments #129-130 i reported the bug affecting my version
of the ath5k. Its going on 16 days since i filed it but nobody has
responded other than the initial confirmation. Is this normal or did i
miss something? At this point i forget what its like not to be tethered
to an ethernet cab
I have the same problem --- occasionally after reboot the theme is
reverted from radiance to ambiance and icon theme to some ugly default.
If I log in / log out then everything goes back, i don't have to do
nothing in settings for it.

I just installed Ubuntu 11.04 64 bit on my iMac.
I'm facing the exact same problem. When installing without specifying
amd64, work units are gathered normally. But, when the option is used
and after invoking origami status i get:
No work units have been assigned yet. Please check status again

Just upgraded to Ubuntu 11.04 amd64. If I right-click on an ISO image
and choose "Write to Disc" half the time Nautilus restarts with no
error or entry in /var/log/messages. The folder window I'm looking at
closes and for several seconds I get
