I can confirm that this is still an issue with Ubuntu 11.04 using gvfs version
1.8.0-0ubuntu2 from the natty repository.
It is also reproducible on my Acer Aspire 8943G laptop which it slows down
quickly after all RAM is used although CPU (4 threads) is idle making
I get the same error when I attempt to run Zita-at1 version 0.2.3-1 on
Ubuntu Oneiric.

Wel, I have tried to fill the report bug upstream but it turned out to
be impossible for the last period as their webpages are not reachable
for me - it keeps loading several minutes and then displays an error
message that the connection has been interrupted. They may have a
technical problem or

Same with me here on Ubuntu Natty. I first thought it was an mtu issue
but it's the same even when I drop the mtu.
I don't see any packet loss when sending pings (even large pings) but
firefox or chrome both hang whilst loading sites and I can see tcp
retransmissions being sent out.

Have shotwell open and a potrait picture with orientation tag in the EXIF data
in your library. Now edit the picture with jhead:
jhead -autorot pic.jpg (This will rotate the image according to the

The other possible issue is concurrency, but that's not likely. I can see

I believed I was having the same problem, until I can across a post that
pointed out that when you run rhythmbox for the first time an icon
appears on the top status bar (by the clock).
If you click on this you get an option to *Show Rhythmbox*.

I get the same error as the original bug report:

I'm running Kubuntu 11.04 on i686 architecture (32bit).
The system currently doesn't react to CD-RWs, it doesn't matter whether it's

I'm sorry, this error may have been caused by trying to write to a
partition that was too small for the installation. It appears that the
9.04 installation crashed a few years ago when I improperly partitioned
the drive. I didn't want to try to repartition reformat because I had
a working copy of
