The amanda backup was running again; this is now the third time that the
backup was running while the system 'froze'; too much of a coincidence I
think, but not sure what to do next. I will post to the amanda mailing

This is a severe issue, as it might lead to damaged hardware. Suspend to
RAM is the default for several situations (closing lid, idling in

distributions I tested with the latest version, and so I need the

This only happens if compiz is used. ubuntu 2d works fine!
