This also affects my system (1920x1080 and 1680x1050 display).
Bootoption nomodeset did not make any difference. But with manual
configured xorg.conf the problem was solved.

This just began happening on 3 October. Whenever I select a new tab in
Nautilus and click on a bookmark or device, Nautilus crashes. I had no
problems with Nautilus prior to this.
