have verified that the version of cups 1.5.0-8ubuntu3 in -proposed fixes the
issue.

In MS windows, we can type Chinese characters using a Chinese characters
inputting Program but I could get the program to work in Ubuntu
environment. Perhaps an Ubuntu equivalent Chinese Inputting Program
could solve this problem but I could not get such a program. Please
help!

The program does seem to actually download the log, I believe, but
somehow fails to display it. My local proxy has copies of several
changelogs for precise packages. So, they must have been downloaded but
fail to display.

I'm affected by this bug as well. Have you guys considered supporting
multiple launchers, one per screen? Maybe even have each launcher only
display application on its own monitor?
