It's SPLENDID. Simple, in the right place, and nothing to tinker- just

Oneiric is the last ubuntu stable version, are you telling me that I have to
upgrade to 12.04 ?? For what I know now it's in earlier developing phase and
the pc I'm using is a desktop which I use daily...
Is there a way to upgrade only this single package ?

Lubuntu 11.10 comes installed with a Alt-F2 keybinding defined in
~/.config/openbox/lubuntu-rc.xml to run "lxpanelctl run." It always
defaults to being unfocused (i.e. if you have a maximized window and hit
Alt-F2, the Run dialog opens in the background-- you don't see it).

The default remote desktop application in Ubuntu 11.10 does not provide
an option to set the resolution of the remote desktop. It defaults to
800x600 and cannot be changed, thus rendering the application unusable.
A workaround is to use the remmina application instead.
