Tried adding the bond0 interface to a bridge but it's not in the "RUNNING"
state:

1) The lens queries software center for the "apps available for

2) Software center provides the lens the same icon as that one inside
the package, i.e. the icon is usually the default one and doesn't
respect user themes

package) even though the software center might display a different icon.

xchat, followed the same steps as in the video but the icon didn't come.

I fixed this by purging a lot of the xserver, dbus, and udev related
packages and reinstalling them. I didn't notice anything else relevant

HI. Sorry I am not only a newbie to Ubuntu but I don't understand any of what
you're saying, not being a techo of any description. Does this mean that I can
install something to make this dvd work, or not? if so what, and how do I find
it and if not then I guess I just have to play it on the tel
I purged this package and found no problems with Synaptic or Software
Centre. However the update-apt-xapi process always used to cause my
(single core Intel Celeron) computer to run so slowly as to be unusable
(on Ubuntu 11.10).

It is tricky, and the changelog excerpt Jim provided shows when, and
how, it will hit (not a really common situation). Since coreutils 8.13
is being provided (right now) on Precise, I am marking this bug fix
released.

and then ( as root ) install needed plugins - works fine, but this is
not safe for the installation, i suppose
