I just installed the beta of Lubuntu 12.04. After installing the caja
file manager from the Oneiric ppa (the successor of Nautilus 2 which
works perfectly well with LXDE in Ubuntu Natty) the desktop background
goes white. I know that nitrogen (the desktop background switcher)
Are you aiming to get DB 4.8 removed from the archive before release? If so,
I think this is fine, but if not, I don't see the need.

The reason for the install errors is that I have not updated these
scopes for Precise yet. The versions for Precise in my repository are
still based on Unity 4.x rather than 5.x. I plan to update them over

initial boot, but if you once go to sys settings appearance
behavior, click on, and then click off again the behavior is correct and

chose something else and set / at the previews ext4 partition, without
formatting (to keep my /home intact)
set the same user and password.
the internet connection was cut off sometime after language pack
installation.

Our current isc-dhcp is using the good old sysvinit jobs to start/stop
isc-dhcp-server and isc-dhcp-relay, this works pretty well but doesn't
support the IPv6 use case.

Thanks everyone for all of the testing and feedback. The current RC6
patches we are carrying sound most promising. For now I'm going to mark
this bug Fix Released. We intend to carry these patches for the 12.04
release assuming we do not discover any other show stopping regressions
with the RC6
