It's a normal, local X session that comes up after bootup, using the
standard X server that comes with ubuntu 12.04.
The system is using an xorg.conf file to make it use the fbdev driver,
since it has a Poulsbo video chip for which only a 2d driver is available.

This bug is still present in 12.04 and is easily reproducible.The
workaround of changing the formatting to be "Number" does not work in
all situations and sometimes you are stuck with being unable to adjust
the axes.

After the upgrade from 11.10 to 12.04, I have daily freezes for no
apparent reason; One freeze can come after a fresh boot with no open
programs - and another freeze can come five hours after working with
many programs. There is never a single action, that causes a freeze.
