I have a Clevo laptop (W240EU/W250EUQ/W270EUQ) that appears to have this
Realtec card reader. but the reader does not work, cards are not recognised at
all, dmesg does not show anything when a card is inserted.

Just tested Quantal's daily build and there doesn't seem to be any
changes from Precise. Will this be ready for feature freeze?

Well, there's the ~30second pause in the dmesg - not obvious why though; do you
still have this bug on this hardware?
If so what external devices do you have connected?

Some thing more or less, happens to me. UI becomes unresponsive. I can
still move the mouse but all kep presses and clicks are uneffective. I

the next director,y finding the right thing and there is only one
directory to go to; so this is correct behaviour.

Discovered while running autopilot with the help of thomir: as of
recently, when setting a Compiz option, Compizconfig attempts to put
GTK+ into interactive mode, which breaks anything else running the GTK+
mainloop (autopilot, for one).

I have the same problem. Everytime that I change the channel or turn off
the monitor (TV) sound stops working. I found a work around so I do not
need to unplugg the hdmi cable. I go to another console (ctrl + alt +
F2) and then back to graphic mode (ctrl + alt F7) and the audio is back.

As per Jessesmith's comments about it being fixed in 4.6; Ubuntu now has 5.5-1,
and the menu seems to work.
(can't honestly say I understand how to play the thing, but hey...it seems to
work).
