I do have a 'regular' dock for my T61 but it has of course a parallel
port as well. Freeze in resume from suspend did not occur for a while
(but I am *now* using the tuxonice kernel). Instead I have occasional
freezes on suspend to disk. Do not know if it can be related.

I'm not sure it's the same bug. Currently I'm always seeing the menu
rendered beneath the parent window per the attached screen shots (
comment #2 and #12 ). The bug as originally reported was more
consistent with bug #931473.

Attached a tar file containing build log, install log, NEWS file and a debdiff.
The package has been tested to see if it fix the crasher and it does :)
Unit tests pass without any failure and this package is already present in a
PPA since a week to be able to heavily test it against applications
Not just cloud images, but Ubuntu Server aswell.

I have experienced the same issue with 1 of 3 identical machines. All

My T61 was locking up on every resume from dock. I found a workaround.
At the BIOS level is disabled the TPM chip and the legacy ports for the
dock. I don't use any of these port/features so it is no great lose.
This may be a bit overkill. Maybe just disabling one of them would have
worked. If

With the just-uploaded patch from python-requests (carry-over from that
MIR), this is approved. Would be nice to see the python3 tests enabled,
but since we don't have python3-coverage and server team isn't using the

latest version of ubuntu ? As this has been reported against an older
version of Ubuntu, it'd be nice to see whether it still exists.

this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1020317, so is being marked as such.
Looks fine once the tests are enabled. But since there is a recent

After latest updates, gnote is almost working correctly. I have version
3.5.0. The only problem now is that closing the Search All Notes
window closes the application. If status-icon has been enabled, the only
way to close the application should be from the status-icon.
Of course, I realize gnote
