This definitely seems to be a problem with the indicator being unable to
cope with an unexpected locale setting. I had export LANG=C in my
~/.profile file, and saw the same behavior. After modifying the line to
export LC_COLLATE=C, the datetime-indicator now works properly.

Tried it, but the suspend doesn't seem to work in 12.04. While the box
tries to go to sleep (network disconnects, display goes dark), the power
LED stays on (not slowly flashing as when it really is suspended), and
sometimes even the fan keeps on running. After a few sec it wakes up
again
@derlars I did try the latest kernel again and got the problem to happen
once on boot already and another time after about 2.5 hours. I will try
out some of the kernels between rc4 and latest.

Nick, you were right. I figured out that I was probabily forgetting to
unload the fglrx module after changing it. So, I restarted the system
(in order to avoid any mistake), and fglrx from Ubuntu repository
worked.
I also upgraded to your intel module newer package and everything kept
working

Hi,
I'm using updated version 0.9.99.1 but still I encounter the crash
issue. It was workgin perfectly when it suddently crashed. Changing the
resolutions makes it work but it again crashes randomly.

When going into suspend-to-RAM or suspend-to-disk, I regularly get error
messages like this one in the system log and on the console:

If one wants to allow to run apps as root it needs to change
/etc/sudoers and add NOPASSWD, i.e.:
%sudo ALL= NOPASSWD: ALL
but if instead a space isnt provided between = and NOPASSWD, i.e.:
%sudo ALL=NOPASSWD: ALL
or
%sudo ALL=NOPASSWD:ALL
then kdesudo will fail

I also encounter this issue on my dell xps 15.
This bug happens for me with kernel 3.5.0-18-generic, but not with
3.5.0-17-generic.
When booting with 3.5.0-18-generic, driver initialization fail, and X
fallback to using the vesa driver.
