nothing worked on my laptop. Have reverted to an older version of linux
to get it working again. Going to format my hard drive reload and use

I'm affected by this bug, but only when using cinnamon, not unity.
Something was done in compiz to prevent this problem but this was not
done in muffin/mutter.
I've found out that when using xscreensaver the issue happens as well,
BUT when moving the mouse xscreensaver's password prompt shows

Follow-up: there's some race condition in play here, because the bug
doesn't manifest itself on each boot. Here's my fstab, I would also like
to note, that the AoE device is offline. I replaced the exec line and
post the log ASAP.

Missed out question 1) completely, the last time suspend worked was in
