the problem here was that xine is missing by kdenlive, as it tells
itself on very first start of it(see description), so the patch is
exactly doing what it should do. It add xine to the dependency to allow
kdenlive to do one of its standard functions. If xine is not installed
#5's solution also worked for me.

Yes, in my case it is webapps as well, gmail is unusable, the error pops
up after a minute or so of using it and the entire OS slows down to a
crawl, menus stop working and at least a log-out/log-in or a restart is
